Hello! I’m Krystal, a London-based Illustrator, Artist, and Graphic Designer. My work celebrates the rich tapestry of people, places, and community, reflecting the vibrant stories that shape our lives. Through colourful, digital vector illustrations, I aim to evoke feelings of comfort and nostalgia, turning everyday moments into art that connects us all. Each piece I create is a love letter to the world around us, highlighting the beauty and significance of the spaces we inhabit and the people who share them.

I completed an Art Foundation at Central Saint Martins before graduating with a BA (Hons) in Design Communication from Chelsea College of Arts, both part of the University of the Arts London. For over 15 years, I’ve worked in design studios and in-house teams across consumer, tech, hospitality, education, and the creative and cultural sectors — creating designs that genuinely connect with people and places.

Inspiration strikes during my weekly walks around the city, where I absorb the architecture, nature, and the myriad experiences that define urban life. My creative process begins with sketching, capturing the essence of my subjects using photographs. After sketching, I scan my drawings into Adobe Illustrator, where I transform them into vibrant, playful illustrations that celebrate the stories of our communities.

While illustration is at the heart of my creative work, I’m also a versatile graphic designer, supporting businesses with a wide range of design projects — from branding and visual identity to marketing materials and digital content. I often combine bespoke illustrations with graphic design to create unique, authentic visuals that help clients tell their stories and connect with their audiences.

In addition to digital work, I create paintings using acrylics and watercolours, exploring different textures and styles that deepen my connection to themes of people and place.
